The Desertina Fraternity has existed at the Disentis Abbey School and Boarding School for 27 years. Life-long friendships are created here, as well as contacts for higher education and career.
Desertina is a high school fraternity. It is part of the Swiss student association. This in turn comprises 69 sections – not only in Switzerland but also in Germany, Austria and Italy. It has around 110 active members and 7,500 old boys.
Whoever goes on to study later can become a member of other student organizations: those at colleges and other higher education institutions.
The connection brings even more connections
The most important connections are those with the other “Fuchsen” and “Burschen” – and with the “Altherren” with whom you will automatically get to socialize.
Further important connections exist to students at the colleges. They can be useful in the choice of study program and college. Or even when looking for a student room or a student job.
